“My goal is to allow my clients to remain happy and healthy in all aspects of their life.”
She believes that the calming and centering energy of Reiki should be shared, and achieves this through continual learning and practice. Previously, Arlene served as a Reiki volunteer at Jefferson Regional Hospital where she provided individual sessions to Oncology and Joint Replacement patients. She was also instrumental in creating a Reiki Pilot Project for women at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital to receive Reiki during chemotherapy treatments for breast cancer. In addition, Arlene also performed Reiki on hospice patients at various Pittsburgh facilities.
Arlene has taken the Reiki message to the community, and delivers presentations to explain and demonstrate Reiki at local organizations including libraries, churches, and healthcare support groups. She also served on a team that developed and conducted a semi-monthly Healing and Wholeness Service which included Reiki at the Franciscan Spirit and Life Center in Whitehall, PA.
Arlene is a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals, an organization dedicated to the professional growth of practitioners and to creating greater awareness of Reiki.
